A couple of weeks ago, a whole new small person, who was welcomed into the world during lockdown, was introduced to their great-grandmother. They were given a cuddly toy, which they grabbed with both hands and a wide-eyed grin.
A couple of hours later, a dog stole the toy from the pram and mauled it.
